Booking conditions

Bookings for public sessions or private hours can be made on our online calendar

Private hire or Event bookings can be made by emailing info@saunaonwheels.co.uk

Bookings are only confirmed when full payment is made.

Everyone taking part will be required to sign a disclaimer before booking and/or entering the sauna and plunge pool

Sauna etiquette

•Only swimwear may be worn in the sauna. Nudity is not permitted.

• Entering and exiting the sauna with care.

• Please always keep the door clear.

• Please clean your feet in the water tray by the entrance before entering the

sauna.

• Sitting on a towel to prevent sweat marks.

• Do not wear any creams or lotions.

Creams and lotions can cause damage to the benches.

We are all responsible for looking after the fresh water and natural habitat

surrounding the sauna. Keeping the sauna space cream and lotion-free will

avoid harmful pollutants entering the environment.

• Do not use essential oils in the sauna.

• Please do not touch the vent.

Staying in the sauna for no longer than 20 min at a time (we recommend 5-15 min

sessions).

• Leave the sauna if you start to feel uncomfortable, nauseous, dizzy or

lightheaded.

• Listen to your body, it's not a competition.

Make sure to drink plenty of water before, during and after your sauna session.

Cold plunge

• Use the cold plunge at your own risk. It is your own responsibility to ensure

that you are able to withstand exposure to these cold temperatures.

We recommend bringing 2 towels. 1 for sitting on and 1 for drying off after.

Before the Sauna

• All persons using the sauna do so at their own risk. These risks include the

potential for bodily harm and even death. We ask that you contact your GP if

at all in doubt about safely using the sauna.

• Do not drink alcohol, smoke or take drugs before entering or during your

sauna session. Fire & Steam sauna reserve the right to refuse admission to

intoxicated persons. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.

•If any of the below apply to you (please note, this is not a comprehensive list) we

advise you to seek your GP’s advice:

• If you're pregnant

• If you've had a heart attack or stroke

• If you're taking any medications

• If you have cardiovascular conditions and/or problems

• You have epilepsy

• You have asthma or breathing conditions

• High or low blood pressure

• If you have arterial disease

• If you have joint or muscle injury

• For the safety of your personal belongings please keep them to a minimum

when coming to the sauna, ensure they are not obstructing

doorways/entrance & exits. We cannot take any liability for losses.

Inside the Sauna

• The sauna is wood-fired and is extremely hot. Do not touch the stove, stove

door, flu chimney, sauna rocks or surrounding fire guards.

• Do not touch any part of the stove, if more wood is required, please inform the

Sauna host or use the red fire glove provided.

• You are welcome to pour water over the stones using the ladle and water

provided, just check with your fellow bathers first as it will increase the heat!

• When pouring water on the rocks, start from the point furthest away from you

and draw the ladle towards you to prevent the steam from scalding your arm.

• Jewellery should be removed before entering the sauna to prevent burning.

• Please ensure that your swimsuit does not contain any slimming panels or

metal components that may heat up and potentially cause skin burns.

• It is important to note that a sauna can make you feel hot, lightheaded and

faint. Should you feel these symptoms are beyond your comfort/control

please notify another sauna bather or the sauna operator immediately so they

can help you.

Cancelation policy

For public & Private sessions cancellations before 14 days will receive a full refund. Cancellation up to 48hrs before a session can rebook for free or receive a gift voucher for a future sauna. Cancellation within 48hrs of a session will receive no refund.

For private and/or mobile hire cancelation 14 days before will be able to rebook for free. Cancelation less than 14 days before the hire will receive no refund.

Public sessions

Public sessions can have up to 4 people booked onto each session of mixed ages and genders. If this makes you feel uncomfortable we recommend a private session or get in touch to see if we can organise a single gender session.

Private Sessions

All Participants musts sign the disclaimer (6 max)

Private hire

You will be required to sign a hire agreement before the commencement of the hire.

You will be solely in charge of the sauna during your hire

You will be required to pay a damage deposit which will be refunded on return of the sauna, assuming no damage is found.

Only people who have singed the disclaimer will be allowed to use the sauna. Please inform us of everyone taking part

Loyalty Card – Terms and Conditions

Card Ownership: This loyalty card is issued by Fire & Steam and remains the property of Fire & Steam.
Personal Use Only: This loyalty card is strictly non-transferable. Only the named cardholder is entitled to receive stamps and redeem rewards. Sharing or transferring the card to another person is prohibited and may result in the card being revoked.
One Stamp Per Session: Only one stamp will be awarded per sauna and cold plunge session, regardless of the duration of the session. A "session" is defined as one visit to the sauna and cold plunge facilities on a single day by the cardholder.
The Free sauna session will be of the same value as the sauna session where the stamps were received. for example 3 Open sessions stamps receive a free open session. OR 3 private session stamps receive a private session stamp. or 3x mobile hire recieve a free mobile hire.
Proof of Identity: Fire & Steam reserves the right to request proof of identity to verify card ownership before awarding a stamp or redeeming a reward.
Damaged Cards: Damaged cards may be replaced at the discretion of Fire & Steam, However, accumulated stamps will only be transferred if the original card is presented.
Reward Redemption: Once the required number of stamps has been collected, the cardholder can redeem the specified reward. Rewards are subject to availability and may be changed at the discretion of Fire & Steam
No Cash Value: This loyalty card has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Changes to Terms and Conditions: Fire & Steam reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on the website and via email and will be effective immediately.
Data Privacy: By using this loyalty card, you consent to Fire & Steam collecting and storing your name for the purpose of administering the loyalty program.
Termination of Program: Fire & Steam reserves the right to terminate the loyalty program at any time without prior notice. In the event of termination, any accumulated stamps may be forfeited.
